What I like the best about Baltimore Green Map is that it is comprehensive and diverse in the types of information it makes available in one place, all geographically linked. It is supportive of people who are interested in physical fitness, walkable cities, supporting socially oriented businesses, and connecting with others with similar interests. It provides the opportunity for someone who is interested in using alternative forms of transportation, to identify destinations to explore which support their interests, and identify businesses that are aligned with what they care about. It lends itself well to studies regarding triple bottom line benefits, as it provides information on businesses, natural resources, and cultural resources, while revealing the potential for activities involving creativity, engagement, and physical fitness.
